· Arbour is a global network with local placement agents in all key markets for alternative investments. They have transacted €1.3 bn in 2021. I spent a year in Arbour building enterprise software for investors and placement agents to easily process million dollar deals in weeks rather than months.
· Early stage startup - did everything from customer interviews, early prototyping, validating, fund raising and more.
Avneesh Agarwal from Netradyne in Bangalore
· Netradyne is a computer vision and deep learning start-up valued at 1 billion USD (July 2021) that raised more than 200m USD with investors - SoftBank, Microsoft and Reliance.
· 20th person to join this early stage startup all the way to unicorn. Was part of the initial core team that built the first version of the product that converted trial users to actual paying customers.
· Worked with engineering, data and device teams to build patented solutions for driver safety.
Kurosch and Pascal from Carl Finance in Berlin
· Carl is an M&A platform for SMEs, connecting owners, advisors, and acquirers around opportunities from €1mn to €50mn in transaction value.
· Carl was one of the ventures funded by Project A.
· Built the early version of the Carl Connect platform with the tech team. Converted a lot of manual processes in M&A into digital solutions with the web application.
Jordan and Nikhil from Superpowered in Toronto
· Superpowered is a YC company building an AI copilot for your meetings by young but ambitious founders who previously worked at Google, Facebook and Stripe.
· Almost a 0 to 1 journey of building the AI note taker from a calendar notification app.
· Customer interviews, concept testing, design to add value by converting users paying $10/m to $90/m.
